Sr Systems Administrator

Location: On-site in Boulder, CO

What you will do

• Own Level 2–3 technical escalations, supporting laptops, desktops, workstations, and AV systems.
• Support site networking including switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi, and ISP coordination.
• Manage connectivity for specialized lab equipment to ensure reliable network access.
• Handle local employee onboarding and offboarding, including device provisioning and access setup.
• Manage local hardware inventory, procurement requests, and vendor relationships.
• Oversee building access, utilities, and local regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• 7+ years in IT support and operations with growth into infrastructure work.
• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals: switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi, DNS/DHCP, and VPNs.
• Experience deploying and managing endpoints using MDM and imaging tools.
• Hands-on experience with Google Workspace, Zoom, and Atlassian.
• Ability to operate independently as the senior on-site resource while aligning with a central team.
• Must be based in Boulder, CO for on-site operational support.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting lab or scientific equipment connectivity.
• Server, storage, or virtualization administration experience.
• Knowledge of endpoint security and access management.
• Certifications such as Google Workspace Admin or CompTIA Network+/Security+.
