Technical Product Manager (Software)

Location: Must be based in Chicago, Illinois, United States. Relocation assistance is not available. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $128,470–$208,770 per year

What you will do

• Define technical product requirements, solutions, product vision, and engineering roadmaps for digital products.
• Maximize product value and define work for multiple scrum teams.
• Create, maintain, and prioritize the technical product backlog according to business value.
• Own functional and non-functional epics, features, acceptance criteria, release dates, and release content.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, System Engineering, Data and Analytics Architects, Platform Architects, stakeholders, and customers.
• Represent customer needs and communicate product releases and priorities.

Requirements

• Knowledge of business analysis methods, tasks, techniques, and tools.
• Strong decision-making, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of software product business operations, install bases, current uses, future plans, and product vision.
• Knowledge of software engineering methodologies and best practices.
• At least 4 years of Product Management experience in the software space.
• Must be based in Chicago, Illinois; relocation assistance and visa sponsorship are not available.

Nice to have

• Experience leading product strategy and building roadmaps.
• Data analytics and commercializing APIs.
• Business-level Product Management experience with applications or data platforms.
• Knowledge of the company’s industrial domain.
