Software Engineer - Live Link (Backend)

Location: Hybrid, based at headquarters in the Greater Seattle area

Salary: $91,000–$125,000 base pay annually

What you will do

• Design, build, deploy, operate, and maintain backend services powering Live Link and Entitlements capabilities.
• Develop APIs, distributed services, databases, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure for customer-facing scenarios.
• Build high-performance, cost-effective data services capable of processing large-scale datasets.
• Implement secure services with authentication, authorization, entitlements, secrets management, privacy, and least-privilege access.
• Contribute to testing, monitoring, troubleshooting, CI/CD, deployment automation, and production reliability.
• Collaborate with Product, Architecture, Solutions, and engineering teams to deliver scalable end-to-end solutions.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience building production-quality software.
• Experience with one or more programming languages such as C#, Python, or Java, plus strong data structures and algorithms knowledge.
• Experience designing, deploying, and operating backend services and APIs in production.
• Experience with distributed systems, data pipelines, large-scale data processing, relational databases, or NoSQL data stores.
• Knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, API design, debugging, troubleshooting, and engineering best practices.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer; visa or work permit sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Microsoft Azure experience.
• Experience with containers and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and infrastructure as code.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
