WaveLogic Modem Program Manager (Telecommunications)

Location: On-site at hirify.global's Kanata office in Ottawa, Canada

Salary: CAD 110,100–175,900 per year

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional WaveLogic modem programs from concept through delivery, managing scope, budget, and schedules.
• Build stakeholder alignment and drive execution against strategic objectives.
• Develop and manage product development schedules from new product introduction through mass production.
• Track dependencies including silicon tape-out dates, process development initiatives, and technology availability.
• Identify and mitigate risks, challenges, and interdependencies affecting program outcomes.
• Define build plans and communicate program status, risks, change requests, and performance metrics to stakeholders and executive leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in the telecommunications industry.
• 5+ years of experience managing complex programs.
• Experience managing hardware and software projects in telecommunications.
• Strong verbal and written communication, collaboration, consensus-building, and stakeholder-influence skills.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary technology projects with organizational and business planning responsibilities.

• Experience working with WaveLogic R&D development teams and processes.
• Experience leading diverse, multidisciplinary teams through direct or indirect influence.
