Location: Onsite at the Champaign facility, Illinois, United States. Available shifts are 6:30am–2:30pm and 2:30pm–10:30pm, with overtime as required. Flexible hours, weekends, and on-call shifts may be required. Relocation is not offered and visa sponsorship is not available.
Salary: $23.05–$29.35 per hour, plus a $1.50-per-hour premium for second-shift work.

What you will do
- Maintain, repair, troubleshoot, and optimize robotic, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, controls, and facility automation systems.
- Install, calibrate, inspect, and repair conveyor systems, automated machinery, computerized control systems, sensors, and building automation equipment.
- Lead preventive maintenance activities, respond to emergency requests, and identify root causes to reduce downtime and recurring failures.
- Document work orders, parts, labor, and preventive maintenance activities in E-Maintenance.
- Mentor maintenance team members and provide technical guidance during maintenance projects and equipment upgrades.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal departments while maintaining safety and environmental compliance.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in facilities maintenance, preferably in a logistics warehouse or industrial environment.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, automation, robotics, controls, and industrial machinery troubleshooting skills.
- Experience using hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, test instruments, computerized control systems, and building automation systems.
- Knowledge of OSHA standards and ability to follow safe work practices, including work involving hazardous materials and waste.
- Ability to work independently, communicate with team members and contractors, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, bend, stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding maintenance work.
Nice to have
- Associate’s degree in facilities management, mechanical or electrical engineering, or a related field.
- Electrical or mechanical maintenance certification.
- Experience with E-Maintenance, NFPA 70E, lockout/tagout, supervision, mentoring, or technician training.
