Logistics Planner

Location: Fully onsite in Chino, California, United States

Salary: $75,000–$90,000 USD annual salary

What you will do

• Execute daily intercompany inventory transfers in Oracle to support replenishment and distribution network balancing.
• Coordinate with Distribution Centers to ensure transfer requests and shipment execution are accurate and on schedule.
• Monitor carrier pickups and deliveries, obtain shipment updates, and resolve delays and service issues.
• Escalate transportation exceptions that may affect inventory availability or operational performance.
• Partner with Distribution Center, Transportation, Inventory Planning, Customer Service, and other internal teams to resolve shipment issues.
• Maintain transportation records, support KPI and carrier performance reporting, and contribute to peak-period initiatives and process improvements.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain, warehouse operations, or a related field.
• Experience working with transportation carriers, freight brokers, and third-party logistics providers.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, relationship management, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Experience using ERP systems; Oracle experience is strongly preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in high-volume retail, consumer products, or distribution operations.
• Familiarity with truckload, LTL, parcel, and general transportation processes.
• Experience applying AI to daily workflows.
• Exposure to transportation performance metrics and carrier scorecards.
