Data Center Asset Manager

What you will do

• Manage data center asset lifecycle from receiving to retirement with 100% accuracy
• Conduct daily operations including inbound/outbound hardware management, cycle counts, RMA, relocation, and decommissioning
• Track and document asset movements and maintain data governance standards
• Coordinate physical inventory and asset audits to ensure system record accuracy
• Maintain SOPs and promote best practices company-wide
• Interface with Accounting, Finance, Engineering, and Compliance teams to ensure asset management compliance

Requirements

• Must be able to work onsite in San Jose office 4 days per week
• 3+ years experience in warehouse and inventory management, preferably in high-tech or hardware environments
• Strong knowledge of inventory control principles, warehouse systems, and ERP software (NetSuite)
• Excellent organizational and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Experience with large data sets and inventory reconciliation using Google Sheets/Excel
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate warehouse equipment

Nice to have

• Experience in data center, electronics, or hardware deployment environments
• Knowledge of Compliance, Standards & Governance (e.g. SOX, NIST 800-88)
• Exposure to fixed asset tracking and physical inventory audits
