Care Advocate (Healthcare)

Location: Remote within AZ, DC, DE, FL, GA, HI, IL, KS, MA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, NC, NJ, NM, NV, NY, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, VT, or WI. Active US work authorization required. Shifts include Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday, 11:00 AM–7:30 PM ET or 3:00 PM–11:30 PM ET.

Salary: $55,000–$65,000 per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Manage a high volume of introductory video appointments and prioritize member support tasks.
• Answer member questions, resolve product-related needs, and provide personalized education and recommendations.
• Navigate healthcare networks, investigate available resources, identify referral needs, and help members access care.
• Coordinate follow-up and close the loop on outstanding member needs.
• Collaborate with Care Delivery, Customer Support, Provider, and Product teams.
• Anticipate and address members’ social determinants of health needs and contribute to cross-functional projects.

Requirements

• Background in allied health, human services, or healthcare.
• 1–2+ years of direct patient care or digital health experience.
• Strong problem-solving, flexibility, growth mindset, and empathetic written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working toward engagement, satisfaction, and productivity KPIs.
• Ability to learn and navigate technology systems while working remotely.
• Active US work authorization and residence in one of the listed states are required.

Nice to have

• Experience in family planning, maternal-child health, pregnancy, postpartum, fertility, options counseling, menopause, adoption, or surrogacy.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace, CRM platforms, EHRs, or Zendesk.
• Healthcare-related certification or licensure.
