Staff Software Technical Program Manager (Autonomy & Robotics)

Location: Remote within the United States, with some travel to hirify.global deployment areas. Conditions: San Francisco, CA.

Salary: $193,800–$285,000 USD annual base salary, plus potential equity grants.

What you will do

• Program-manage development of the autonomy software stack across perception, planning, localization, system safety, simulation, and remote assistance.
• Partner with autonomy software teams to deliver new autonomy features.
• Drive features from requirements or engineering concepts through validation on public roads.
• Coordinate planning, tracking, follow-up, and issue resolution across Autonomy, Software, Product, QA, and Operations.
• Provide technical program status and updates to executive leadership.

Requirements

• 8+ years of industry experience in engineering and/or program management.
• In-depth knowledge of autonomy and feature validation in simulation, closed-course testing, and public-road environments.
• In-depth experience with the software development lifecycle and taking software products or features from concept to production.
• Experience managing complex, cross-functional programs with significant ambiguity.
• B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in a STEM field.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet or MS Project, and Google Workspace.
