Employee Relations Partner

Location: North America scope, including the US and support for Mexico as needed.

What you will do

• Independently manage employee-relations cases across the US and support Mexico as needed, covering performance issues, investigations, and separations.
• Diagnose ambiguous workplace issues and create clear resolution paths when no policy or precedent exists.
• Conduct workplace investigations from intake through closure and maintain accurate case documentation in HR Acuity.
• Advise and coach managers through sensitive performance and conduct conversations.
• Partner with Legal on risk assessment, documentation, and resolution strategies.
• Support HRBPs with ER training, policy guidance, escalation triage, and ER infrastructure initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of employee-relations experience, including direct ownership of workplace investigations.
• Strong working knowledge of US employment law.
• Demonstrated ability to resolve ambiguous, first-of-their-kind cases independently.
• Experience supporting global teams and using a formal ER case-management system.
• Excellent written communication, documentation, judgment, and discretion with confidential information.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting employee-relations matters outside the US, especially Mexico.
• Experience in a high-growth technology or startup environment.
• Experience building or scaling ER processes and infrastructure from an early stage.
• Experience supporting employees in the EMEA region.
