Employee Relations Consultant

Location: Remote - Nationwide within the United States. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; visa sponsorship, including CPT/OPT sponsorship, is not available.

Base salary: $79,400-$112,175 per year, with potential participation in a bonus program.

What you will do

• Administer the employee relations function and advise managers and employees on workplace matters.
• Lead and support investigations, disciplinary actions, performance and conduct cases, involuntary terminations, and EEOC charge responses.
• Provide coaching, consultation, and conflict-resolution support.
• Track employee relations trends and recommend improvements to HR and business leadership.
• Interpret employment laws and regulations and support compliance and risk mitigation.
• Partner with HR business partners and senior HR leaders on policies, procedures, and engagement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or four additional years of employee relations experience instead of a degree.
• Five or more years of employee relations experience.
• Knowledge of current federal, state, and municipal employment laws and regulations.
• Experience advising managers and employees on investigations and disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• HR Generalist experience in a service-related industry.
• PHR or SPHR certification.
• Experience managing complex employee relations cases involving investigations, conflict resolution, involuntary terminations, and EEOC matters.
• Experience applying HR policies and employment regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
