HR Generalist (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States; listed locations include New York, NY, and San Francisco, CA.

Salary: $130,000–$170,000 USD for candidates in the U.S.

What you will do

• Manage onboarding and offboarding for full-time employees and contractors.
• Administer the HRIS and maintain accurate employee data.
• Support visa processes, leave management, benefits, and other core HR operations.
• Act as a first point of contact for employee relations matters and escalate issues when appropriate.
• Partner with the HR Manager on performance reviews, open enrollment, engagement surveys, and other people programs.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in an HR Generalist, HR Associate, or People Operations role.
• Knowledge of benefits, leave administration, and basic employment law.
• Strong judgment and emotional intelligence for handling sensitive employee situations.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with a high-ownership mindset.
• Familiarity with HRIS platforms.
