E&S Liability Claims Tech Specialist (Insurance)

Location: Remote within the United States

Salary: USD $96,000–$125,000 per year

What you will do

• Handle low-to-moderate litigated and non-litigated E&S liability claims involving bodily injury and property damage.
• Investigate claims, analyze liability and damages, and conduct full coverage reviews.
• Draft tenders, tender responses, coverage letters, and payment documentation.
• Analyze depositions, expert reports, attorney evaluations, and other litigation or pre-suit evidence.
• Evaluate, negotiate, and settle claims within delegated authority, including participation in mediations, trials, reviews, and settlement conferences.
• Manage claims from initial contact through settlement or closure, including salvage, subrogation, releases, checks, or disclaimers.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of claims-handling experience.
• Ability to manage litigation files from start to finish.
• Experience handling bodily injury and property damage claims.
• Proficiency with Xactimate.
• Multi-state licensing.
• Valid state-issued driver's license in good standing and ability to drive an automobile.

Nice to have

• Prior litigation-handling experience.
• Excess and surplus lines experience.
