Claims Supervisor (Insurance)

Location: Remote (Must be based in AL, AZ, CA, FL, GA, HI, IL, IN, KS, LA, MI, MO, MS, NV, NJ, NY, NC, OK, OH, PA, TN, TX, WI, or CT)

Salary: $82,000–$100,000 Annually

What you will do

• Supervise a team of Claims Representatives and Claims Support Specialists to meet service and quality standards.
• Review automobile claim investigations and provide handling recommendations to subordinates.
• Ensure claim adjudication follows company standards, industry best practices, and regulations.
• Manage settlement authority and payment processes.
• Develop and maintain documented claims policies, procedures, and workflows.
• Oversee staff training, performance evaluations, and recruitment of top talent.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in the Property and Casualty insurance industry.
• Strong understanding of insurance industry practices, standards, and terminology.
• Experience handling subrogation, property damage, and injury claims.
• Must be based in one of the specified US states.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Windows.
