Liability Field Adjuster (Insurance Claims)

Location: Remote from the United States; travel throughout the assigned coverage territory is required.

Compensation: $39,000–$52,000 per year; the role is 100% commission-based at 42% commission with a bi-weekly draw of $1,500.

What you will do

• Conduct investigations for assigned liability and casualty claims.
• Inspect or coordinate inspections of properties, structures, vehicles, equipment, and accident scenes.
• Document damages, conditions, causation indicators, measurements, photographs, diagrams, and other findings.
• Evaluate coverage, liability, damages, and exposure, escalating complex issues, large losses, litigation indicators, and specialty claim concerns.
• Obtain statements and prepare accurate, timely reports and complete claim files.
• Coordinate with examiners, managers, carriers, policyholders, vendors, attorneys, and other claim participants while managing service deadlines and quality standards.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of adjusting experience.
• Active adjuster license(s) and ability to obtain additional licenses as required.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel locally and regionally.
• Experience with commercial or residential property, general liability, casualty, bodily injury, transportation, auto, home liability, or commercial equipment claims.
• Experience with claims platforms, mobile documentation tools, estimating and reporting systems, including Xactimate.
• Strong investigative, documentation, organizational, communication, and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently and manage shifting priorities.
