Commercial Manager (Cost Management)

Location: Wilmington, Delaware, US; hybrid

Salary: $125,000–$175,000 per year, depending on skillset, education, and experience.

What you will do

• Manage tender and bid processes from initial documentation through analysis and reporting.
• Oversee project spend by preparing valuations and cost reports.
• Communicate cost variations clearly to project stakeholders.
• Support the settlement of construction disputes and loss and expense claims.
• Provide accurate cost documentation and timely communication to support project management and decision-making.

Requirements

• Experience in pre- and post-contract cost management across varied projects.
• Degree or comparable experience in a related construction discipline.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel for short periods to meet clients, partners, and team members.
• Ability to manage priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
