TL;DR

Location: Rogersville, New Brunswick, Canada. Regular business hours are required, with some irregular hours, on-call coverage, and travel throughout New Brunswick.

What you will do

  • Manage staff, systems, and ambulance-service performance for the Rogersville administrative area.
  • Provide positive workforce oversight and support corporate strategic goals and service-level improvements.
  • Manage administrative operations, employee relations, labour issues, and patient or customer issue resolution.
  • Oversee recruitment and selection for site paramedic staff.
  • Develop effective teams, build staff capabilities, and mediate workplace conflicts.
  • Participate in on-call coverage and provide backup ambulance work during emergencies.

Requirements

  • Completed an approved paramedic training program and current registration as a paramedic in New Brunswick or equivalent.
  • At least five years of paramedic experience, including three years in a progressively responsible leadership role.
  • Experience in EMS management, information technology, finance, and human resources.
  • Valid Class 4 driver's licence in New Brunswick or equivalent.
  • Leadership, staff development, independent judgment, problem-solving, communication, negotiation, and dispute-resolution skills.
  • Working knowledge of standard business computer programs, including Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice to have

  • Post-secondary education in business administration.
  • Bilingualism in French and English.
