What you will do

• Provide operational and managerial leadership for the Thomas Ashton Institute.
• Work with the Leadership Team, research themes and platforms to develop the research, teaching and learning portfolio.
• Engage academics, HSE colleagues and external stakeholders to identify synergies and funding opportunities.
• Build a stronger Institute identity across the University and within HSE.
• Manage the professional services team and oversee the Institute’s financial management.
• Support the development and execution of strategic and operational plans.

Requirements

• Proven ability to work effectively within and lead diverse teams across organisational boundaries.
• Experience formulating and delivering shared strategic and operational objectives.
• Strong operational leadership, organisational and motivational skills.
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary research setting.
• Ability to develop and maintain partnerships.
• Commitment to open communication, flexibility and participation at all levels.
