What you will do

• Deliver one-on-one kinesiology and personal training services for participants with neurological, degenerative, and balance-related conditions.
• Conduct functional assessments and falls-risk screenings through online and in-person sessions.
• Prescribe and deliver condition-specific aerobic, balance, functional strength, flexibility, and falls-prevention exercise programs.
• Create personalized exercise and rehabilitation plans and provide education on movement and exercise mechanics.
• Chart client care and manage service billing in Jane.
• Communicate functional changes and increased falls risk to the wider multidisciplinary healthcare team while maintaining participant safety and data quality.

Requirements

• Registered kinesiologist with experience working with clinical populations and exercise prescription.
• Relevant technical program or university degree and at least three years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills, including clear documentation and professional correspondence.
• Experience with word processing, internet tools including Zoom, and databases or spreadsheets such as Access and Excel.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, prioritization, and communication skills, with sensitivity toward people living with neurological disease.
• Ability to protect patient confidentiality, maintain accurate records, work independently, and collaborate within a multidisciplinary clinical team.

Nice to have

• Web design, Omnify scheduling software, Workday, Standard First Aid, and CPR C experience or certification.
• Experience in a clinical setting and exercise instruction.
