Sleep Study Support Specialist (Sleep Diagnostics)

Location: Cleveland, Ohio, United States; primarily work-from-home with occasional on-site meetings as needed. Second-shift schedule.

Salary: $33.65 per hour, plus equity, paid time off, and other benefits.

What you will do

• Provide professional, empathetic phone support to patients, customers, and other stakeholders throughout the sleep testing process.
• Assist patients with equipment coverage, troubleshooting, scheduling, testing instructions, and next steps before and after overnight studies.
• Schedule and coordinate patient testing, monitor return calls, and complete outbound calls when needed.
• Document patient and customer interactions, actions, follow-up needs, appointments, and study information accurately.
• Protect the confidentiality and integrity of Protected Health Information and maintain records in accordance with HIPAA requirements.
• Escalate complex issues, coordinate patient needs across teams, support operational coverage, and contribute to process improvements.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a sleep center, clinical or technical support, or another customer- or patient-facing environment.
• Direct experience communicating with patients or customers by phone and documenting interactions accurately.
• Strong verbal and written communication, organization, attention to detail, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to handle confidential information and Protected Health Information in accordance with HIPAA requirements.
• Reliability, accountability, adaptability, comfort learning new systems, and a patient-first approach.

Nice to have

• RPSGT or CCSH certification.
