Patient & Family Advisor (Pediatric Mental Health)

Location: Remote, US; fully virtual work with periodic in-person retreats.

Salary: $57,000 starting annual salary

What you will do

• Serve as the primary contact for prospective families through calls, texts, and emails.
• Educate families about the program, treatment methods, and clinical outcomes.
• Build trusting relationships, provide empathetic guidance, and advocate for families accessing care.
• Navigate insurance eligibility, payer contracts, Single Case Agreements, benefits, and authorization workflows.
• Coordinate with Payer, Scheduling, Authorization, Growth, and Clinical teams to resolve onboarding barriers.
• Maintain CRM and help desk records, follow HIPAA requirements, and pilot workflow and AI-based process improvements.

Requirements

• Experience working with customers, patients, or families, including difficult conversations and communication by phone and digital channels.
• Knowledge of health insurance billing, verification, benefits, cost-sharing, and eligibility is preferred.
• Experience handling Protected Health Information under HIPAA is preferred.
• Comfort using CRM platforms such as Salesforce or ZohoCRM and support ticketing workflows.
• Resilience, adaptability, collaboration, empathy, and a strong commitment to exceptional family support.
• Readiness to learn AI tools, pilot workflows, and provide constructive feedback.
