Senior Accountant - SEC Reporting

Location: Menlo Park, California, United States; onsite Monday through Thursday and work from home on Fridays.

Salary: $112,000–$168,000 per year.

What you will do

• Prepare and review quarterly and annual SEC filings, including 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, S-8, Form 4, and Form SD filings.
• Prepare financial statements, disclosure checklists, workpapers, tieouts, and XBRL reviews in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Support quarterly earnings releases, earnings tables, scripts, and related reporting activities.
• Research technical accounting matters, evaluate new accounting standards, and prepare supporting documentation.
• Analyze related-party transactions and business activities to determine appropriate disclosures.
• Partner with FP&A, Cost Accounting, Legal, Sales, auditors, and other stakeholders on reporting, process improvements, special projects, and M&A integration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• 4–7 years of accounting experience with strong hands-on SEC reporting experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience researching technical accounting matters.
• Public company and/or Big 4 experience, with strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.
• Current authorization to work in the United States without present or future sponsorship is required.
