Junior Data Engineer

What you will do

• Support the design, structure, and maintenance of relational databases, data warehouses, and cloud data solutions.
• Develop and maintain data models, pipelines, and logical workflows.
• Write and optimize SQL queries and Python-based data processes.
• Support Snowflake development, administration, and data integration.
• Investigate data issues and help deliver accurate, accessible, reliable, and scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, analysts, and technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Onsite availability in Plano, Texas is required.
• 2–3 years of experience in data engineering or a related technical role.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Python, and SQL.
• Working knowledge of data warehousing and cloud data platforms.
• Familiarity with relational database design, data modeling, logical workflows, and data quality principles.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with XML or other data-oriented languages and formats.
• Experience creating technical diagrams or data visualizations.
• Familiarity with data architecture and scalable cloud-based data solutions.
