Analytics Engineer

Location: Remote within North America, with optional co-working offices in San Francisco, New York, and London and occasional team travel.

What you will do

• Translate ambiguous Product and GTM questions into metrics, models, analyses, and workflows.
• Build and maintain dbt models and data pipelines covering product, customer, and business data.
• Improve data modeling, testing, documentation, performance, and reliability across the data stack.
• Create dashboards and self-service reporting in Metabase and Hex, and perform deeper analysis when needed.
• Operationalize data through reverse ETL, scoring, segmentation, automations, and internal tools.
• Use LLMs and coding agents to accelerate development, analysis, testing, and documentation while maintaining correctness.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data analytics, or data engineering.
• Exceptional SQL skills and hands-on experience with dbt and a modern cloud data warehouse.
• Experience owning data projects end to end, from ambiguous problem definition to delivery.
• Strong judgment in data modeling, analytical investigation, maintainability, and reusable solutions.
• Ability to work across technical implementation and business contexts and communicate with technical and non-technical partners.
• Comfort using LLMs and coding agents in daily development work.

Nice to have

• Experience working at a fast-moving software company.
• Familiarity with Snowflake, Metabase, Hex, Hevo, Fivetran, HubSpot, Pocus, or Clay.
