What you will do
- Lead the design and implementation of advanced data pipelines and ingestion frameworks.
- Guide technical execution of complex data initiatives and translate business requirements into scalable solutions.
- Optimize data platforms to ensure high performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Enforce enterprise-wide data governance, security, and quality standards.
- Mentor engineers and lead code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
- Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to align technical solutions with enterprise direction.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 6–8+ years of data engineering experience with enterprise-scale platforms.
- Advanced proficiency in Snowflake, Python, PySpark, and SQL.
- Strong experience with AWS and modern data platforms.
- Deep understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing.
- Must provide reliable high-speed internet (fiber, cable, or DSL) and a dedicated home workspace.
