Location: Kansas City; applicants must be U.S. citizens or authorized to work for any U.S. employer, or Canadian citizens and those authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship.
Salary: $60,000–$75,000 USD annually

What you will do
- Build and maintain ETL solutions that transform data from multiple source systems.
- Develop data models with dbt and provide accurate data through warehouses, reporting, visualization, and BI tools.
- Design and operate Python-based orchestration workflows using tools such as Dagster, Prefect, or Airflow.
- Build reconciliation systems that verify consistency across data sources.
- Deploy and support data software on public cloud infrastructure.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers and the broader Engineering organization.
Requirements
- Strong SQL skills and experience handling large volumes of data.
- Expertise in Python and working knowledge of test-driven development.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure, with AWS preferred.
- Experience with relational, NoSQL, and cloud data storage technologies, including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, AWS DocumentDB, or Snowflake.
- Experience with analytical reporting, business intelligence, and visualization tools such as Tableau, Apache Superset, or Looker.
- U.S. or Canadian work authorization without sponsorship is required; U.S. visa sponsorship is unavailable.
Nice to have
- Experience with distributed systems, real-time payments, or financial and accounting systems.
- CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
- Experience with data lakes, data warehouses, Docker, Kubernetes, or microservices.
- Professional software development experience with Agile methodologies.
