Engineering Manager (AI)

Location: Remote in North America, with listed locations in Toronto and New York

What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of Forward Deployed Engineers building agentic solutions with North in on-premises environments.
• Own customer success from technical implementation through delivery.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Sales to improve enterprise AI delivery.
• Build relationships with customer-side technical stakeholders.
• Define scalable processes for agent development and deployment across multiple client environments.
• Promote continuous improvement and innovation across the development process.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• 2+ years of experience managing software engineering teams.
• Experience leading engineers in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying enterprise software at scale, particularly agentic applications.
• Strong ownership, initiative, execution, and communication skills.
• Excellent English communication skills required, including the ability to explain technical concepts to technical and business audiences.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI/ML infrastructure.
• Background in enterprise security and compliance.
