Assembly Lead (Industrial Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Direct and support assemblers in mechanical and electrical assembly cells.
• Resolve tier 1 escalations, troubleshoot units, and escalate tier 2 issues to the Assembly Manager.
• Assemble industrial systems according to engineering designs and maintain production, crating, quality, and return-to-stock records.
• Lead floor walks, startup meetings, and Gemba activities to identify issues and improve cell output.
• Train and mentor new and existing assemblers on basic and advanced machine-building processes.
• Support 5S audits, quality initiatives, safety compliance, and production focus across the assembly area.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Level IV Assembler experience at hirify.global or 3–5 years of industrial machine assembly experience.
• Mechanical and/or electrical aptitude with the ability to use hand tools, drills, pneumatic tools, and shop equipment.
• Ability to interpret engineering assembly drawings, schematics, and bills of materials.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, mentoring, prioritization, and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Office, 5S, and Lean Manufacturing principles; ability to work overtime and meet physical job requirements.
