Building Department Lead - Electrical Wiring (2nd Shift)

Location: Fontana, California, United States; on-site production floor, 2nd shift

Salary: $21.68–$29.81 USD per hour

What you will do

• Lead and oversee assigned manufacturing team members during the 2nd shift.
• Delegate work based on team members’ skills and experience and support training and orientation for new employees.
• Assist with technical issues and advanced assignment-related problems.
• Inspect completed work and complete electrical wiring assemblies and sub-assemblies as needed.
• Track labor time, materials, and other resources for inventory purposes.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and partner with supervisors or production managers to resolve departmental issues.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least four years of experience in manufacturing, electrical wiring, or a related field.
• Previous experience effectively leading a team of employees.
• Ability to interpret written instructions, blueprints, and engineering diagrams.
• Knowledge of manufacturing, equipment maintenance, safety management, tools, basic math, and technical measurements.
• Ability to work on-site with prolonged standing, bending, kneeling, repetitive tasks, and lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 35 pounds; required PPE must be worn on the production floor.
