Senior Manager, Visa Accept Product Manager (SDK)

Location: US - San Francisco, CA; at least 3 days per week in the office are required. The role is performed in an office setting and requires 5–10% travel.

Salary: $169,100–$270,800 USD per year, with potential bonus, equity, and sales incentives where applicable.

What you will do

• Define and execute the technical product strategy and roadmap for hirify.global Accept SDKs, APIs, and developer platform services.
• Own the full product lifecycle from requirements and technical design through prioritization, testing, launch, and post-launch optimization.
• Partner with engineering, architecture, security, compliance, risk, and regional product teams to deliver scalable and resilient payment capabilities.
• Develop platform features for merchant onboarding, credential management, tokenization, authentication, risk controls, settlement, reporting, and transaction processing.
• Define API contracts, SDK architecture standards, versioning, release processes, developer workflows, and integration patterns.
• Use telemetry, developer feedback, operational metrics, and market trends to improve performance, reliability, adoption, and platform differentiation.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience with an advanced degree or PhD.
• Experience managing API, SDK, platform, or developer-focused products and working with cross-functional engineering and partner teams.
• Strong understanding of payment processing, merchant acquiring, card-present and card-not-present transaction flows.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, iOS and Android SDKs, web SDKs, authentication protocols, tokenization, cloud-native architectures, CI/CD, observability, and API lifecycle management.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders and manage product-development tradeoffs.
• Ability to work from the San Francisco office at least 3 days per week; 5–10% travel is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with developer experience strategies and adoption of technical platforms at scale.
• Agile certifications such as CSM or CSPO.
• Experience identifying product failure points and designing error-handling and resiliency approaches.
