Manager, SVP (Enterprise Payments) - Hybrid

Location: Hybrid in Buffalo, New York; onsite four days per week and remote one day per week. Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of 1 Seneca Street, Buffalo, NY 14203. Quarterly travel may include New York City, Boston, industry conferences, and client meetings.

What you will do

• Define the enterprise payments vision, roadmap, investment priorities, and future-state architecture.
• Lead the evolution of ACH, wire transfers, SWIFT, Zelle/P2P, RTP, FedNow, Payment APIs, digital assets, and emerging payment capabilities.
• Manage the enterprise payments product portfolio and lead multiple agile product teams.
• Drive payment modernization, cloud enablement, platform simplification, API adoption, automation, operational efficiency, and resiliency improvements.
• Establish requirements, feature priorities, KPIs, and measurable outcomes for customer, operational, risk, and business performance.
• Partner with Technology, Architecture, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Finance, and business lines while coaching Product Owners and influencing senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• At least 10 years of combined higher education and/or experience in product management, product ownership, business, technology, payments, or a related field.
• Experience with enterprise payment ecosystems, payment operations, money movement infrastructure, payment networks, or related financial services domains.
• Experience leading enterprise product organizations, large-scale strategic initiatives, payment transformation, modernization, platform migration, or technology enablement programs.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, Lean, modern product management, strategic planning, analytical problem-solving, negotiation, and stakeholder management.
• Must be able to work onsite four days per week in Buffalo and live within a reasonable commuting distance.

Nice to have

• 10+ years of leadership experience managing and developing teams in a complex organization.
• Experience with treasury services, transaction banking, cloud-enabled solutions, API-driven platforms, and customer-centric product delivery.
• Experience developing and executing multi-year product or capability roadmaps in a large enterprise.
