What you will do

• Design fuel cell and electrolyser stack systems and their associated electrical architectures.
• Develop AC and DC electrical network designs for grid-connected fuel cell and electrolysis systems.
• Perform electrical modelling, power analysis, and technical feasibility assessments.
• Produce and review schematics, wiring diagrams, loads, bills of materials, and technical design documentation.
• Review contractor and supplier designs and provide technical guidance on electrical risks and system integration.
• Support installation, troubleshooting, commissioning, and validation of electrical systems.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience with 5–15 years of experience in complex electrical system design projects.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience.
• Strong experience in electrical design, power electronic systems, power networks, and grid connection solutions.
• Practical knowledge of AC/DC distribution, cable sizing, protection devices, earthing/grounding, and electrical infrastructure.
• Experience interfacing electrical systems with PLCs, microcontrollers, power converters, and protection systems.
• Experience with ETAP, EPLAN, MATLAB, or equivalent tools, plus knowledge of IEEE, ANSI, IEC, and NFPA standards.

Nice to have

• Experience in fuel cells, electrolysis, hydrogen, renewable energy, or power generation.
• Experience with MW-scale power systems, modelling and simulation, or prototype technology programmes.
• Fluency in Korean, Mandarin, Chinese, or German.
• Experience working with international engineering teams and partners.
