Logistics Supervisor

Location: Onsite in Fort Worth, Texas, Monday–Friday; occasional travel of 5% is required.

What you will do

• Oversee inbound and outbound shipping, packaging, crating, transportation, and parcel operations.
• Manage logistics metrics, volume planning, staffing, scheduling, contingency planning, and delivery performance.
• Lead logistics systems and documentation processes supporting traceability, tracking, compliance, and cost control.
• Drive process improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, statistical analysis, and root-cause problem solving.
• Supervise, train, coach, and evaluate logistics and parcel team members while maintaining safety standards.
• Collaborate with warehouse, sourcing, supply chain, and cross-functional leaders to resolve operational challenges.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least five years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, warehouse operations, or a related fast-paced environment.
• Experience leading logistics, transportation, or supply chain teams.
• Experience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills; employment eligibility, background checks, and pre-employment testing are required.

Nice to have

• Supervisory or management experience in manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environments.
• Lean, Six Sigma, APICS/ASCM, CSCMP, or another supply-chain certification.
• Experience with logistics management systems, transportation management systems, and performance reporting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, data-driven decision-making, and cross-functional change leadership skills.
