2nd Shift Operations Supervisor

Location: Onsite in Carol Stream, Illinois, United States; night shift schedule required.

Salary: USD $72,700–$116,300 per year, with potential additional rewards and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead night-shift warehouse associates, shipping clerks, and support personnel to achieve daily operational goals.
• Oversee outbound order fulfillment, staging, loading, shipping documentation, and carrier coordination.
• Monitor workflow, staffing, labor utilization, inventory accuracy, warehouse space, and shift performance metrics.
• Coordinate with transportation, logistics, customer service, and other cross-functional partners to resolve operational issues.
• Enforce safety standards and operational procedures while improving throughput, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Coach employees, manage performance, and support team engagement and development.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; an associate's or bachelor's degree is preferred.
• At least 5 years of warehouse, distribution, logistics, or supply chain experience, including 3 years in warehouse operations, shipping, or distribution.
• At least 1 year of supervisory or team leadership experience in a high-volume distribution or fulfillment environment.
• Strong knowledge of outbound shipping, inventory control, warehouse operations, transportation scheduling, and shipping compliance.
• Ability to use warehouse management and inventory systems, prioritize work, solve operational challenges, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work overnight shifts and lead teams in an onsite, fast-paced operational environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in a distribution center, fulfillment center, manufacturing facility, or large warehouse.
• Experience implementing continuous improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Bilingual Spanish or Hindi communication skills.
