Vice President, Marketing (Life Sciences)

Location: Rockville, Maryland, United States; remote or hybrid work model

Salary: $215,700–$388,800 annual base salary, plus potential discretionary or non-discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Build, lead, and develop a high-performance global marketing organization across centralized, field, product, digital, and operational functions.
• Define and execute global marketing, brand, product positioning, content, and customer acquisition strategies.
• Lead demand generation, integrated sales campaigns, channel marketing, and regional field marketing programs.
• Oversee digital marketing, marketing automation, CRM, analytics, performance reporting, and operational efficiency.
• Direct market research, competitive analysis, pricing strategy, market access, and portfolio growth initiatives.
• Manage industry events, trade shows, conferences, and joint marketing programs with academic, research, and corporate partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is highly preferred.
• At least 15 years of progressive marketing leadership experience in life sciences, healthcare, or biotech, including a strong global focus.
• At least 7 years of management experience and a record of building complex, multi-region marketing organizations.
• Demonstrated success driving business growth through product marketing, brand development, content, demand generation, and customer engagement.
• Strong knowledge of life sciences tools, customer segments, competitive markets, digital marketing, marketing automation, CRM, and analytics.
• Excellent strategic thinking, stakeholder management, communication, presentation, leadership, and performance management skills.
