TL;DR
Director, Talent & Performance (Talent Acquisition/People & Culture): Leading talent acquisition and performance management for a rapidly growing, multi-site construction organization with an accent on scalable recruiting, performance coaching, and workforce planning. Focus on building high-volume talent pipelines, guiding leaders through complex performance matters, and using workforce analytics and AI-enabled tools to improve people processes.
Location: Miami, FL; hybrid work arrangement

What you will do
- Lead, coach, and develop the Talent Acquisition team while setting performance and service standards.
- Develop scalable sourcing and recruiting strategies for corporate, project, operations, and field-based roles.
- Oversee full-cycle recruiting, pipeline development, recruiting vendors, employer branding, and candidate experience.
- Lead performance management processes and coach leaders on goals, feedback, accountability, conduct, and conflict resolution.
- Partner on workforce planning, talent gaps, succession risks, investigations, and corrective actions.
- Track recruiting and performance metrics, optimize ATS workflows, evaluate AI-enabled tools, and provide executive reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- 8+ years of progressive People & Culture or Talent Acquisition experience across recruiting strategy and performance management.
- 3+ years of experience leading or developing recruiting or People & Culture team members.
- Strong experience in a field-based, multi-site, or workforce-intensive environment.
- Practical experience with performance coaching, documentation, policy interpretation, conflict resolution, and employment law.
- Experience using ATS, HRIS, and workforce data, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Nice to have
- Experience in construction, real estate development, manufacturing, distribution, or another workforce-intensive industry.
- Experience with employer branding, recruitment marketing, or workforce development programs.
