Operations Specialist (Inventory & Warehouse Management)

Location: Onsite at the Santa Clara, California office; work starts at 8:00 AM Pacific Time. Occasional extended hours and travel to hirify.global offices, customer sites, conferences, and company functions may be required.

Salary: $36–$39.50 USD per hour.

What you will do

• Develop warehouse and inventory management concepts to improve quality inspection, tracking, and inventory control.
• Oversee inventory usage, accuracy, receipt, inspection, staging, and shipment-related activities.
• Lead complex warehouse assignments, resolve inventory and logistics issues, and facilitate cross-functional execution.
• Manage RMA workflows and analyze return-cycle documentation to drive continuous quality improvements.
• Create and maintain process documentation and SOPs while identifying bottlenecks through root cause analysis.
• Support production and fulfillment teams in meeting strategic schedules.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of related experience in warehouse, logistics, or inventory management.
• Specialist-level expertise in warehouse operations with the ability to work independently and lead assignments.
• Extensive experience with Lean Six Sigma, 5S, and warehouse process improvement methodologies.
• Advanced proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems and ERP systems, including NetSuite.
• Demonstrated proactive problem-solving and Root Cause Analysis experience.
• Ability to work onsite from 8:00 AM Pacific Time, occasionally work extended hours, and lift up to 20 lbs.

Nice to have

• Fulfillment experience across multiple facilities.
• Experience with GSuite, metrology, and inspection instruments.
• Coursework in science, mathematics, statistics, engineering, manufacturing, or a related field.
