What you will do

• Produce, execute, validate, and close monthly Spanish payroll runs in SAP according to service scope, payroll calendars, and country requirements.
• Manage Spanish Social Security activities through Sistema RED and SLD, including registrations, terminations, CRA files, liquidations, discrepancy analysis, and resubmissions.
• Process employee lifecycle events, absences, leavers, finiquitos, payments, statutory reports, IRPF activities, and year-end payroll outputs.
• Maintain and improve SOPs, detailed work instructions, payroll manuals, validation procedures, and customer-specific documentation.
• Coordinate with customer contacts, internal payroll teams, SAP AMS, and service management stakeholders to resolve dependencies, risks, and operational issues.
• Participate in testing, change requests, process improvements, and backup coverage across the Spanish SAP MPS portfolio.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience delivering Spanish SAP payroll, preferably in payroll outsourcing, managed services, BPO, or enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of Spanish payroll calculation, validation, post-payroll processes, Social Security, tax reporting, payment outputs, absences, finiquitos, and year-end activities.
• Practical experience with SAP HCM Payroll Spain, including payroll schemas, wage types, PA/PY/OM processes, validation, and issue resolution.
• Experience with Spanish payroll tools and outputs such as Sistema RED, SLD, CRA, AFI, Certific@2, Contrat@, FDI, SILTRA, IRPF, Modelo 111, Modelo 216, and Modelo 190.
• Experience working with payroll calendars, strict deadlines, customer responsibility splits, payroll controls, SLAs, and compliance requirements.
• Fluent Spanish and strong professional English, written and spoken.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP MPS, BPO, payroll outsourcing, or post-go-live payroll support.
• Experience with SAP SuccessFactors, Employee Central Payroll, Payroll Control Center, Workforce Management, or payroll integration tools.
• Experience supporting payroll transitions, parallel payroll, UAT, SIT, testing, and multi-entity Spanish payroll environments.
