Payroll Analyst (FinTech)

What you will do

• Oversee Portuguese payroll operations on a permanent basis.
• Work with external payroll providers supporting European subsidiaries.
• Coordinate payroll processes across Spain, the UK, Malta, Sweden, and other markets.
• Review payroll activity for accuracy, compliance, and operational consistency.
• Collaborate with Finance, Strategy & Operations and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of operational payroll experience, including hands-on Portuguese payroll mechanics.
• Experience with Portuguese statutory compliance, labor legislation, social security rules, and tax regulations.
• Experience managing multi-country third-party payroll providers across Europe.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative working style.
• Fluent English and Portuguese required.

Nice to have

• Experience in a fast-paced FinTech, technology, or multinational environment.
• Experience with HiBob, Workday, Portuguese payroll tools, or payroll bureau portals.
