Collection Supervisor (Automotive Finance)

Location: On-site at the Westlake Services corporate office in Agoura Hills, California, USA. Flexible scheduling, including evenings, weekends, overtime, extended hours, and light travel, is required.

Salary: $25.00 per hour plus bonus potential.

What you will do

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the Servicing Department, including coverage, schedules, workflow, and account assignments.
• Review delinquent accounts, verify account accuracy, and authorize or refer accounts for repossession and legal action.
• Coach, train, and develop servicing staff while monitoring collection techniques and call quality.
• Investigate and resolve escalated customer issues, complaints, errors, and employee grievances.
• Conduct weekly and monthly account audits, call scoring, attendance tracking, coaching logs, and staff performance reviews.
• Prepare reports and ensure department activities comply with company policies and applicable laws.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a supervisor or manager role with 5 or more direct reports.
• Experience directly supervising, coaching, evaluating, and developing teams; this role oversees 8–14 employees.
• High school diploma required; a college degree is preferred.
• Strong judgment, organization, prioritization, communication, grammar, and email etiquette skills.
• Ability to explain policies, diffuse hostile callers, deliver training, and work under time constraints and daily deadlines.
• Ability to work on-site on a flexible schedule, including 8-hour shifts, overtime, evenings, weekends, and extended hours.
