Customer Relations & Accounts Receivable Specialist

Location: North Canton, OH, USA

Compensation: $26–$29 per hour; salary range of $55,000–$60,000 per year

What you will do

• Apply daily cash accurately and on time.
• Review customer receivables and coordinate payment resolution.
• Communicate with internal and external customers about collection issues.
• Reduce delinquency across assigned accounts and support the collection process.
• Facilitate invoice dispute resolution with customers, Field teams, and local Customer Relations teams.
• Collaborate across departments, provide training when requested, and complete special projects.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Preferred: 1–3 years of experience in cash application, banking, or accounting.
• Strong customer service, verbal and written communication, math, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and terminology, with strong accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
• Preferred experience with Microsoft D365, Microsoft Great Plains, Salesforce, Prelude, American Contractor, Sage 300, or QuickBooks.
