Senior Financial Planning Analyst (AI)

Location: Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Travel is approximately 10% in Europe. Applicants may be required to attend interviews onsite at a hirify.global office.

What you will do

• Lead complex financial analysis, forecasting, and scenario planning for global business decisions.
• Partner with business leaders on performance, risks, opportunities, and strategic initiatives.
• Develop financial models for budgeting, long-range planning, investment decisions, and business cases.
• Drive variance analysis and performance tracking, turning results into clear recommendations.
• Standardize and automate planning, forecasting, reporting, and financial data workflows.
• Use AI and agentic tools to automate data aggregation, variance explanations, and scenario generation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in FP&A, accounting, corporate finance, or a similar role.
• Experience supporting senior stakeholders in a business-partnering capacity.
• Strong financial analysis, modeling, forecasting, and reporting skills.
• Ability to ensure financial data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.

Nice to have

• Experience with advanced analytics, automation, or AI-driven finance tools.
• Global business experience.
