Location: Germany (Nuremberg, Muelheim an der Ruhr, Duisburg, Hamburg, Berlin, Erlangen), Romania (Bucharest), or Poland (Warsaw). Flexible and remote work options are available.

What you will do

• Build the Function Controlling discipline for Transformation of Industry, including its operating model, governance, interfaces, and organizational structure.
• Lead financial performance management for functional cost centers through monthly closings, forecasts, and budgets.
• Partner with IT, HR, Communications, Legal & Compliance, Procurement, and Finance leaders on cost and manpower decisions.
• Establish cost transparency for the future standalone business, including separation effects, target cost bases, and steering logic.
• Develop standardized, automated controlling processes and dashboards, using AI where it adds value.
• Build, coach, and develop the Function Controlling team and its business-partnering capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in Financial Controlling, FP&A, budgeting, and corporate finance in a complex international environment.
• Proven experience leading, building, coaching, or transforming finance teams.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and support business decisions.
• Excellent knowledge of SAP, financial reporting, internal controls, and process optimization.
• Fluent English required; German is an advantage.
