TL;DR
Senior Business Planning & Reporting Analyst (Financial Planning and Reporting): Designing management information reports, financial models, forecasts, and benefits dashboards for Marsh Tech with an accent on budgeting, variance analysis, and data quality. Focus on building Power BI and Excel reporting, controlling project spend, and presenting complex financial insights to senior stakeholders and executive committees.
Location: Cluj, Romania. Hybrid work with a requirement to work in the local office or onsite with clients at least three days per week.

What you will do
- Produce project financial forecasts, track performance against budgets, and identify and report key variances.
- Build financial analyses, models, data models, dashboards, and reporting automation to support strategic decisions.
- Create and distribute periodic management information reports for senior management and stakeholders across Marsh Tech.
- Track program benefits, develop benefits dashboards, and prepare materials for Executive Board reviews and steering committees.
- Manage approvals for statements of work and purchase orders to help keep projects within budget.
- Improve data quality, standardize reporting processes, and promote accurate use of systems and data.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience in consulting, finance, or a highly analytical role.
- Understanding of financial reporting, monitoring, financial controls, budgeting, forecasting, and benefits management.
- Significant Excel experience with strong numerical, analytical, data interrogation, and complex spreadsheet skills.
- Experience presenting complex information and influencing senior and executive-level stakeholders.
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, complex environment and make sound day-to-day decisions.
- A BA or BS degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or Mathematics is preferred.
