TL;DR
Financial Analyst (Fintech): Managing FP&A reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis for BTCS Technology and Global Engineering with an accent on Capex oversight, monthly close controls, and multi-currency performance reporting. Focus on consolidating forecasts, improving reporting systems, and analyzing large datasets across international technology teams.
Location: Cluj-Napoca, Romania; hybrid work

What you will do
- Deliver financial reporting, forecasting, analysis, and planning support for BTCS Technology, including Engineering and Infrastructure.
- Support the BTCS CTO with budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis.
- Manage Technology Capex reporting, including actuals, forecasts, and strategic and operating plans.
- Partner with Financial Accounting, Revenue Management, GTO Technology, and business financial analysts to support monthly close, consolidations, and performance commentary.
- Oversee technology deferrable projects and contribute to financial transformation initiatives, including the GL structure, AWS reporting, and headcount alignment.
- Participate in international projects and improve reporting systems and processes.
Requirements
- 2–6 years of experience in an international, multi-currency environment; fintech experience is preferred.
- Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and PivotTables, with the ability to analyze large datasets and trends.
- Experience with Oracle Fusion, IBM Cognos, and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in English.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, ownership, prioritization, and process improvement skills.
- Ability to collaborate in virtual teams across Cluj, London, Stockholm, Singapore, France, and the USA.
