What you will do

• Own the strategy, design, operation, and continuous improvement of enterprise infrastructure across data centers, cloud environments, networks, servers, storage, and virtualization.
• Ensure high availability, capacity planning, disaster recovery, and business continuity for core systems.
• Oversee database administration, performance, backup and recovery, lifecycle management, integrity, and scalability.
• Lead end-user computing and service desk operations, including hardware and software lifecycle management, SLAs, KPIs, and ITSM practices.
• Build and develop the IT operations organization while managing budgets, vendors, contracts, operational metrics, and executive reporting.
• Partner with application, security, privacy, data, and business teams on enterprise initiatives.

Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive IT experience, including 5+ years in senior IT operations leadership.
• Experience leading enterprise infrastructure, systems, database, end-user computing, and service desk functions.
• Deep expertise in AWS, Azure, and/or GCP, networking, virtualization, and enterprise systems.
• Strong experience with ITSM frameworks such as ITIL and IT operations tooling.
• Demonstrated ability to build teams, manage budgets, lead vendors, and influence executive stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Master's degree or MBA.
• ITIL, PMP, cloud architect, or related certifications.
• Experience supporting technology- or transportation-focused businesses.
