Residential Field Specialist (Energy Efficiency)

Location: Denver, Colorado; local on-site field work with travel throughout the Denver metro area and periodic same-day trips elsewhere in Colorado.

Salary: $30 per hour targeted compensation; compensation range of $26.40–$39.70 per hour.

What you will do

• Shadow and coach residential energy auditors, reviewing audit setup and techniques and providing hands-on feedback.
• Conduct quality-control visits at completed residential installation sites.
• Verify contractor work against program standards, identify issues, and ensure corrections are completed.
• Review audit and project reports as part of ongoing quality assurance.
• Support contractor onboarding by explaining program requirements and rebate submission processes.
• Manage contractor communications, scheduling, and independent field appointments.

Requirements

• 3–4 years of relevant trade or energy-auditing experience, such as installation, estimating, HVAC, insulation, or water-heater work.
• Strong technical knowledge of residential energy-efficiency systems and audit practices.
• Professional communication, self-management, time-management, and organizational skills.
• At least 21 years of age, a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, and reliable personal transportation.
• High school diploma or GED; ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and applicable DOT requirements.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship or immigration-status support.
