Location: On-site in Ottawa, Canada

Salary: CAD 63,000–108,000 per year

What you will do

• Support R&D projects involving collection devices, sample preparation techniques, services, and assays.
• Independently plan and execute laboratory experiments for new products and technologies.
• Perform biological assays including PCR, ELISA, and DNA isolation.
• Generate knowledge and insights to support product development and product support activities.
• Document experimental work thoroughly and communicate findings effectively.
• Collaborate with R&D colleagues across projects and technical areas.

Requirements

• Experience working with laboratory-based biological assays such as PCR, ELISA, and DNA isolation.
• Strong experimental design, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a laboratory environment.
• Diligent technical documentation and effective communication skills.
• Collaborative attitude and ability to contribute across multiple R&D projects.
• Ability to work on-site in Ottawa, Canada.
