Assistant Clinical Analyst I (Canada)

Location: Fully remote within Canada; Tuesday–Saturday or Sunday–Thursday, 9am–5pm ET.

Salary: $56.80–$62.93 CAD

What you will do

• Support clinical data review and case preparation under supervision.
• Apply guided workflows for phenotype-genotype correlation and review clinical features using standardized resources.
• Assist with variant classification by gathering evidence and conducting preliminary literature searches.
• Prepare documentation, update internal databases, and assist with report editing and routine administrative tasks.
• Participate in team discussions, training, continuing education, and professional development activities.
• Abstract clinical information from patient records and meet assigned productivity and quality standards.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in genetic counseling, Biology, Genetics, Biotechnology, or a related field; alternatively, a PhD in a related field or an MD/DO with demonstrated expertise in human genetics.
• Ability to work independently and cross-functionally with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional-level mathematical reasoning, computer literacy, and language-based communication skills.
• High proficiency with internal systems and Microsoft Office 365 applications.
• Genetic counselors must be board-eligible or actively certified by the American Board of Genetic Counseling.
• Licensure is required in the state where the employee works, if applicable.

Nice to have

• Prior clinical or laboratory experience.
• Experience with variant curation.
• Foundational knowledge of clinical analysis.
