International Fragrance Sourcing Consultant

Location: Remote (United States); willingness to travel internationally to meet suppliers and inspect goods is required.

hirify.global is a fragrance subscription business offering digital access to more than 500 designer perfumes each month alongside its own fragrance brands.

What you will do

• Identify, vet, and build relationships with international wholesalers, exporters, and parallel-market fragrance distributors.
• Negotiate pricing, minimum order quantities, payment terms, and supplier contracts across currencies and time zones.
• Verify product authenticity, traceability, trademark and import compliance, and potential gray-market legal exposure.
• Manage sourcing from supplier discovery and sampling through quality checks, purchase orders, and logistics coordination.
• Track customs records, bills of lading, certificates of origin, pricing trends, and international excess inventory.
• Maintain supplier scorecards and partner with Quality and Legal to identify operational and compliance risks.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in international sourcing, procurement, or supply chain, preferably in fragrance, beauty, or CPG.
• Direct experience sourcing through gray-market or parallel-import channels.
• Established relationships with, or the ability to quickly build relationships with, international fragrance wholesalers and exporters.
• Ability to read customs and trade data, including bills of lading and import/export records.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience managing supplier contracts across currencies and time zones.
• Working knowledge of trademark and parallel-import law for consumer goods, with willingness to travel internationally for supplier meetings and inspections.

Nice to have

• Existing fragrance wholesaler relationships in Dubai, Europe, or Singapore.
• Experience in fragrance subscriptions, discount beauty, or off-price retail.
• A second language such as Arabic, Dutch, or another language relevant to sourcing regions.
